Roy H. Trice

Roy has been a serial entrepreneur for over three decades. He was the architect behind the original partnership that would eventually become Sendero^®. Roy is the partner responsible for Sendero’s Family Office services. He consults and strategizes with families working on complex family holdings, acting as a subject matter expert, advising on project design and management of multifaceted, and assessing the strengths and weaknesses of teams and organizations.

Throughout Roy’s career, he has successfully started and sold multiple businesses throughout his professional life. Roy began his hedge fund career in the late 1990s when the industry was in its infancy and grew a firm from $300 million in assets under management to over $8 billion with multiple offices in the U.S. and U.K. by the time he retired. He created and sold numerous businesses during his career. Roy is creative and complex in his thinking which is a great benefit to Sendero’s clients.

As a long-time investor, Roy is a strategist to Sendero’s investment committee, focused on investment opportunities and staying connected to a global network of experienced investors. Roy has been a partner of Sendero^® since 2018. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
