Amelia advises clients on both simple and complex estate planning matters, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and advanced directives. Amelia also counsels individuals and families on wealth transfer strategies for real estate and business interests including assisting in the preparation of IRS filings for transfer tax purposes.

Amelia represents individuals and corporate fiduciaries in both estate and trust administrations. She guides clients through all aspects of the administration of decedent’s estates including intestate estates, heirship determinations and the probate of wills.

Amelia is also passionate about assisting families with children with special needs and families needing to seek guardianship of young adults and family members with diminished capacity. She advises clients regarding the appropriateness of guardianship of both the person and the estate and the applicability of other, less restrictive, alternatives to guardianship.

Born outside St. Louis, Missouri, Amelia spent her high school years in Connecticut. In her spare time Amelia enjoys reading, exploring Texas, and spending time with her husband Chris and three children.

With over two decades of experience, Kristina has an extensive background and valuable knowledge in estate planning and tax matters. Along with her experience, she brings strong leadership and management capabilities to Sendero® that help build strategies for future growth.

Kristina joined Sendero® in the spring of 2022 as Chief Financial Officer | Chief Operating Officer after a decade working with another local wealth management firm. She rose through the ranks with her previous employer, starting as Controller and Manager of Tax Services before becoming Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and finally Director of Finance and Compliance. Kristina built out her previous employer’s tax practice and worked closely with clients every step of the way.

Adding to her role of Chief Financial Officer at Sendero®, Kristina was promoted to Vice President Estate & Tax in 2024.  As Chief Financial Officer, Kristina oversees all financial aspects of the firm and leads the accounting team. As Vice President Estate & Tax, she serves as an in-house advocate and resource to clients, bringing knowledge and peace of mind to families as she helps them navigate the intricate environment of generational wealth transitions and the complexities of estate planning and tax matters. Kristina also works closely with the firm’s Management Committee and is part of the Management Team.
