Carol is a seasoned philanthropic leader with over two decades of experience guiding complex, high-impact initiatives across the nonprofit, private, and corporate sectors. She specializes in grants management, board engagement, operations, and governance, strategic planning, modernizing and streamlining board processes, and multi-generational family engagement.
In 2025, Carol joined Sendero® as the Director of Grants Management. She is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing values-based philanthropic strategies for clients. She focuses on aligning philanthropic goals with legacy planning and facilitates meaningful and effective giving that reflects the client’s values, faith, and long-term vision. Carol’s leadership is grounded in empathy, discretion, and a deep respect for the values and visions of the families she serves.
Carol brings a unique blend of strategic insight, innovative leadership, and governance expertise to help high-net-worth families and institutions achieve their philanthropic goals. She is adept at integrating philanthropy into broader wealth and legacy planning. She is dedicated to building collaborative relationships with clients and helping them develop structured, mission-aligned giving strategies.
A passionate advocate for community engagement, Carol is an active member of several philanthropic networks. She holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Business in Administration in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word.
