Ian Sale

With nearly three decades of experience, Ian is an innovative leader in the financial services industry. He specializes in business operations, strategic development, team leadership, client services, and executive management across front and back-office functions. Ian has a passion for collaborating with all departments within the firm to develop and deliver practical, scalable solutions that support success for Sendero’s team and clients alike.

Joining Sendero^® as a Partner in 2025, Ian holds a dual role as President | Chief Operating Officer at the firm. He oversees Sendero’s day-to-day operations, works closely with the management team to enhance firm processes and technology capabilities, and leads initiatives that strengthen client relationships and employee engagement. Prior to joining Sendero^®, Ian served in various executive leadership roles where he built high-performing teams, supported firm growth and development across $300 billion in assets under management, and advanced digital capabilities for institutional and direct investors.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Arkansas Tech University. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ian is committed to community engagement and philanthropic initiatives. He actively supports technology and performing arts education programs for underserved youth and, together with his family, operates a donor-advised fund focused on disease research, mass atrocity prevention, and homelessness reduction efforts in the greater San Antonio area.
