Katherine LeFlore Smelko

Katherine excels in providing support to executives at an elevated level. She joined Sendero® in 2023 with more than 2 decades of experience in international business, federal, state, and local government. She supported executives and leadership with political fundraising, including 3 presidential campaigns, party national conventions, and a presidential inauguration.

As Partner Liaison, she works directly with the firm’s leadership to coordinate day-to-day activities. She also supports leadership with client-related projects and various administrative tasks. Her organizational skills and attention to detail allow her to successfully tackle even the most meticulous tasks.

As Philanthropic Specialist, Katherine supports Sendero’s Philanthropy division by assisting with financial reporting, communications, data collection, application reviews, and grant awards. Her ability to cultivate and maintain genuine connections with people helps her successfully understand clients’ needs. She efficiently collaborates with other members of the Philanthropy team to help ensure client success.
